Working closely with key stakeholders across Next PLC and its newly acquired brands, we mapped the tangled web of existing tools, user pain points, and process inefficiencies. The legacy tech stack—particularly around Digital Asset Management (DAM) and Product Information Management (PIM)—was preventing scalable growth and undermining content integrity.

Armed with a clear picture of the operational friction, we designed a strategic roadmap to migrate core platforms to the cloud, integrate DAM and PIM workflows, and roll out a consistent UX/UI layer across brand teams. Our solution emphasised metadata standardisation, automation, and scalable taxonomy to future-proof the ecosystem.

Cloud Migration & DAM Implementation We deployed Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) as the centralised DAM, migrating assets and product data into a scalable, cloud-based architecture. Metadata structures were rationalised, taxonomy optimised, and brand readiness ensured for future acquisitions. UX/UI Redesign Through in-depth user workshops and workflow analysis, we reimagined the interface for over 500 internal users—creating an intuitive design language and decluttering the product attribution journey. Automation & Data Clean-Up We implemented Lean methodologies to streamline asset tagging and metadata imports, drastically reducing manual input and improving accuracy—especially important during Oracle NetSuite integration. Training & Adoption Enablement Change doesn’t stick without adoption. We created bespoke training resources, walkthroughs, and documentation to empower internal teams and ease onboarding for future brands.

Measure

We embedded real-time reporting dashboards and project board summaries to track progress across departments. Weekly analytics reports and stakeholder reviews ensured visibility and rapid feedback loops, while adoption rates and productivity gains were closely monitored to demonstrate ROI. Results: • 87.5% increase in product attribution efficiency (from 24 to 45 items/hour) • 65% reduction in operational inefficiencies due to process automation • Unified interface adopted across six brand teams • Substantial time and cost savings from leaner workflows and system consolidation
